Faculty and Staff

The Shire School has experienced, Masters level, lead teachers in each class.   Full time aides assist the lead teachers and have experience with special needs students.  Our Curriculum Director helps teachers find the right program for each child and lends instructional support to our staff.

Building Blocks Therapy, located near the school, provides speech and language consultations and provides us with Speech Pathologists for group therapy in the classroom. They are also available for individual student plans.  We welcome professionals who are working with individual families to the school for collaboration.

The Shire School is a board directed, non-profit school incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
